‘Injustice 2’ Latest Update: Darkseid Changes Into A Playable Character? RPG And Co-op Teased In The Sequel?

Another character of DC comics may join the "Injustice 2" video games increasing its list of characters. This was teased by Ed Boon, the creator of "Mortal Kombat" as he replied to a tweet posted by a certain Imamnippos. Boon was asked if Darkseid, the New God of Apokolips will be seen in the sequel. He answered that Darkseid will join the roster.

The Game Developer Is Scouting For Characters To Add

In its initial title, Darkseid was seen as a stage effect. He turned into a playable character in the game's mobile version. Darkeseid was also seen in the comic book series of the video game. The video game creator was busy using Twitter in conducting a number of surveys of characters that players would like to be included in "Injustice 2."

He mentioned Sub-Zero, a "Mortal Kombat" fighter, The Watchman and Spawn as probable additions to the roster of "Injustice 2." Apart from these icons, there are other DC comics heroes as well as villains that can be accepted to the video games roster. They can include Vixen, Captain Cold, Ra's al Ghul, Black Canary, The Atom, Aqualad (Kaldur'ahm), Beast Boy, Swamp Thing, and a lot more.

Currently, the list of characters included in "Injustice 2" are Batman, Superman, Supergirl, The Flash, JHarley Quinn, Gorilla Grodd, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Atrocitus, Blue Beetle and Deadshot.

Additional Game Features Teased By Warner Bros.

In a related development, Brian Goodman, the marketing manager of Warner Bros. has also teased about some of the "Injustice 2" gameplay features. In an interview with Gamereactor, he said the NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros are collaborating on the story line details of the game sequel.

The launch of "Injustice 2" is tentatively scheduled in early 2017. According to the marketing plan of GameStops, this will probably be in January to March. This sequel debut will coincide with other video titles such as "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," and "Mass Effect: Andromeda."
