“Lucifer” has had its ups and downs. In the last episode mostly downs, but it still manages to entertain its viewers and keep true to its roots. As far as these two go, the show is doing quite well, but still, there are a few issues which need to be discussed.

Yibada shares some sad news for the loyal fans of “Lucifer”. Next week there will be no showing of “Lucifer” Season 2 Episode 11. Instead of that, the show’s newest episode will be released on 16 January 2017. There is still no official explanation to that hiatus, but it is supposed that the show is on a winter break through the month of December.

Other bad news includes that Fox has not yet released the official synopsis for the newest episode in the series, which means that fans can do nothing else but wonder about what to expect when the show hits the small screen in January.

More sad news came from the A.V. Club, who shares a review of “Lucifer” Season 2 Episode 10. The verdict on this one is not light. As a beginning, it is pointed out the climax and cliffhanger of the episode is rather underwhelming. Fans were completely sure that Chloe (Lauren German) will not get killed in the explosion prepared by Charlotte(Tricia Helfer).

This comes from considering the fact that the series is not known for its sudden twists or surprises.
Another weak point in the episode was the attempt at creating courtroom drama, which was a rather unfortunate experience for the viewers. Half-baked lines and linear development lead to a completely unsatisfactory scene with a rather predictable exodus.

The promo for “Lucifer” Season 2 Episode 11 gives viewers expectancy of a far better episode. Charlotte tells Chloe that Lucifer (Tom Ellis) is different when he is with her. An argument shows that the two of them meeting and getting together was part of a big plan, which as Charlotte says, The Father had begun.
In the end of the promo, a shocking scene of an unending blood flow from Chloe’s nose puts her in disdain.

“Lucifer” Season 2 Episode 11 will air on 16 January on Fox.
