"The Last Guardian" is coming for a North America release on Dec. 6 and interestingly, it gets released only on PlayStation 4. Just to experiencd the game, the official PlayStation Japan has uploaded a 9-minute video of the gameplay on YouTube. The initial 9 minutes show how "The Last Guardian" plot is being developed.

The action-adventure game is starting with a young boy, who sees a chained giant creature named, Trico. Initially, Trico seemed to be upset with the boy in "The Last Guardian", however, when he started giving help like offering food and removing the nails, swords and arrows from the body of the beast, it starts befriending the boy. The boy is now more confident and he frees Trico from the chains.

In the later scenes of "The Last Guardian", the game plot focuses on how the beast and the boy go for an adventure, which includes attacking the castles, killing soldiers etc.  Altogether, "The Last Guardian" 9 minute video gives an excellent view of the old castle-like places and stone caves gives an impression that the game is happening in an old kingdom.

Excellent background music throughout the video of "The Last Guardian" gives a wonderful feeling. In the single-player game, gamers take the role of the young boy and have to find the truth behind how he trapped in the isolated place with the help of Trico. Additionally, the communication between both the boy and the beast is another highlight making it engaging to watch.

"The Last Guardian" is developed by both genDESIGN and SIE Japan Studio and it is exclusively published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for PS4. The game was actually announced in 2007 and the delays in the development took almost 10 years to make it a reality. Initially, "The Last Guardian" was supposed to be exclusive for PS3, but considering the transition of PS console over the years, it finally gets released on PS4.
