"Steven Universe" Season 4 Episode 9 is slated to air this Thursday, December 1. However, there are rumors circulating in the internet which say that the show will take a long break after this.

According to reports, the eighth episode of "Steven Universe" Season 4 did not gain too many viewership. This started all the rumors online that the series will face cancellation soon. Despite this, the creators and the crew behind the series did not disclose anything about the cancellation yet nor responded to rumors.

Rebecca Sugar, the animator and director of "Steven Universe", still do not have any news yet if the animated series will be renewed for a fifth season. While the show's boat is still rocking at an unpredictable pace, fans are also invited to get a copy of the series' comic book from Boom! The first release will focus on Steven, Lapis and Peridot who are to rescue a baby bird outside the barn.

Meanwhile, the next episode on "Steven Universe" will look into the relationship of Greg and Steven. The trailer suggests that Steven will tell Greg about their experiences during winter time. Spoilers from Enstarz say that because of Greg recalling the experience, fans will get a glimpse of how a younger Greg looks like and how he was when he was still young. All this reminiscing was caused by Connie whom Greg saw going home before the snow finally falls.

Christian Today says the title for the next episode is "Three Gems and A Baby" where a baby Steven is shown being held by a younger Greg. Recent leaks also suggest that Steven will get to celebrate the holiday season with Amethyst, Pearl, Garnet and of course, Greg. The five of them will be found gathering near the fireplace, singing to the tune of "I Could Never Be Ready". Because of this song, Greg is reminded of the struggles he had to endure while raising Steven alone.
