Admit it Sony and Microsoft, the Nintendo NES Classic console is this year's hottest gadget and is bigger than the popularity of your PS4 and Xbox One combined. No doubt about that. The NES Mini has emerged as the only gadget that gaming fans are willing to stand in line to buy this holiday season. Keep on dreaming for that Sony and Microsoft.

However, this mega demand resulted in an incredibly limited supply that some stores were reportedly selling only the Nintendo NES Classic in just less than ten minutes. For the website Polygon, the failure of Nintendo to meet the demand of the clamoring public is possibly part of a genius marketing plan for the NES Mini. Cleverly genius, indeed!

According to Game & Guide, the Nintendo NES Classic might remain out of stock throughout the holidays. Even pre-ordered items of the NES Mini are not assured of getting allocations from retailers such as Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and Amazon.

But before throwing tantrums for not securing the El Dorado of the gaming industry, there are other ways and opportunities in which consumers can get their Nintendo NES Classic. As hinted by British daily Express, a new stock update is coming this December. So be ready your Google alert for that big event.

Another positive development was reported by News every day. A tracker website dedicated a page for those who are looking for the Nintendo NES Classic Mini. The website provides an update on where units of the NES Mini are available around the world. It was available during Black Friday and will continue to be available beyond Cyber Monday.

Auction site eBay is another place where buyers might chance upon with purchasing a Nintendo NES Classic Mini. Gaming fans need to fork out a $229 for this product. That is 400% higher than the original selling price of $60.

YouTube's AlphaOmegaSin posted a video in which he talked about some enterprising people who were selling NES Classic Edition/NES Mini systems for hundreds of thousands of dollars on eBay, Craiglist and Amazon. See the video below.
