Emily Blunt, a very good actress who can almost do everything, from acting, singing, dancing and much more are always seen in theaters. Her film last year "Sicario" was very impressive and now that a sequel will be produced people can expect that a strong character like her will remain.

Despite her success on her role in 2015's "Sicario" as the FBI agent Kate Macer, Blunt won't be back for the sequel. It was announced and naturally everyone finds it skeptical. Fans can't believe it and are just thinking it is just a ploy to have something to talk about. After all, Blunt plays a major role.

For Emily Blunt not to reprise her role means that something major must have been changed. The reason could be because her character's already done what she's expected to do. This was a very unacceptable announcement for some and the upcoming sequel of "Sicario" entitled "Soldado" might make the viewers uncomfortable.

Blunt's character may not have been part of the "Soldado" script but it was reported  that Benicio del Toro and Josh Brolin as CIA officer Matt Graver will return plus Catherine Keener.  The "Soldado" movie was also been said a movie not dependent on or is not a follow-up of "Sicario".

"Sicario" revolves around the drug business. It also ended with Blunt's character, Kate Macer, to find out about the hiring of the U.S. Government of Alejandro Gallic to kill Fausto Alarcon who was the drug lord. The scene in which Alejandro infiltrated Kate's house was a very thrilling and Emily Blunt really nailed her FBI role.

"Sicario" fans and Blunt's fans don't have to feel devastated as it was said that the film is a three-part anthology and Emily Blunt's character may return for the Part 3.
