‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 8 Episode 6 Spoilers: Damon Makes a Fatal Mistake
The Vampire Diaries Season 8 is on a brief holiday hiatus, and is scheduled to return this week. With its return, fans will see Damon (Ian Somerhalder) make a grave mistake under the control of Sybil.
In The Vampire Diaries season 8, episode 6, the group will face more trouble as Damon - still under the control of Sybil (Nathalie Kelley) - plans to kill not one, but all of his loved ones. The episode is titled "Detoured On Some Random Backwoods Path to Hell".
The synopsis for the episode reads:
"When her children become the focus of the Siren's latest plan, Caroline takes drastic measures to ensure nothing gets in the way of keeping her family safe. In a race against the clock, Stefan pledges to do everything he can to save the twins, while tensions between Alaric and Caroline boil over, leading them to face some harsh realities about the future of their family. Meanwhile, when Enzo finds himself unable to fight off Sybil's latest move, Stefan dives into his subconscious and along the way, sets off a chain of events that leaves him faced with a life-changing decision."
Fans also watch as Damon sets up a trap for Stefan (Paul Wesley), his own brother, in the recently released teaser trailer for the episode. The trailer video left fans wondering whether Stefan survives Damon's trap.
Fans are hoping Stefan will come out of the episode alive, and lives on to protect more of their loved ones such as Alaric (Matt Davis), Bonnie, and Caroline (Candace King) before Damon gets to them. Will he survive?
Another thing to look out for on The Vampire Diaries' next episode is the twins. It was recently revealed that the twins are now the focus of the Siren's plan. It was also reported that this is where the character of Seline (Kristen Gutoskie) will be introduced.
Seline is Sybil's twin, and she sees the twins as a reminder of their childhood. Several spoilers suggest that she will offer the twins to Cade (Wole Parks) a deal so she and Sybil can get out of their deal with the devil.
The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 6 will air on The CW on Dec. 2.
