Over four months after "Game of Thrones" Season 6 finale, fans are still recovering from post-show withdrawal. Fortunately, HBO finally released a teaser trailer for what's to come.

The Game of Thrones seventh season is still more than half a year away, and fans couldn't wait any longer to watch what will happen. The recent teaser trailer released by HBO had caused everyone to board the hype train. While news of a prequel is already one of the most talked about topic on the internet, fans are still more amped up for the Game of Thrones' return.

Of course, the teaser does not spoil anything for the fans, as expected. The showrunners made sure they include parts and clips that don't reveal anything to keep the mystery and excitement building.

Avid fans of the show also know that some episodes of the seventh season of the Game of Thrones are still being filmed. The said trailer is not yet available online. However, fans were quick to take out their smartphones to capture photos of what's to come.

The teaser showed Sansa (Sophie Turner) who seemed to be in Winterfell, a weirwood tree can be seen from behind her. This scene is believed to be meeting with Littlefinger on the sly. However, some fans speculated that the scene could possibly be her reunion with Arya, given the shocked look on her face.

Speaking of Arya, she was also shown in the teaser trailer, riding a horse. Fans can remember that the youngest female of the Stark clan managed to escape The House of Black and White in Game of Throne's previous season. This scene could mean she is still on her may back to Westeros.

Some spoilers also suggest that it was actually Jon Snow Sansa was talking to. After all, Snow was showed in the trailer, standing on the battlements of Winterfell talking to someone. This could possibly mean he is leaving his sister in charge of the castle while he rode south to meet with Daenerys.

Unfortunately for fans, the teaser only lasted for a few seconds, showing only the three Starks siblings. This could mean that the seventh season of Game of Thrones will center around them.

Game of Thrones Season 7 will air next year, and a little bit later than the show's traditional season premiere which usually airs on mid-April. The season is reported to have only 7 episodes instead of 10.
