Selena Gomez Returns To Instagram With Emotional Thanksgiving Post
After taking a time off the spotlight and social media, Selena Gomez is now slowly coming back. After attending the 2016 American Music Awards, the "Can't Keep My Hands to Myself" posted an emotional post on Instagram for Thanksgiving on Thursday.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the mentioned photo was Selena's first Instagram post in nearly three months. The "Kill 'Em With Kindness" singer used the post to thank all her fans for their support.
Selena's emotional post says that she has a lot to be thankful for this year. She said that her year has been the hardest yet most rewarding one yet. I've finally fought the fight of not 'being enough,'" the "Who Says" singer added.
Selena also mentioned on her post that she only wants to reflect the love her fans have given her for years and show them how important it is to take care of them. By grace through faith. Kindness always wins. I love you guys. God bless."
Along with the emotional message is a black-and-white photo of herself together with her fans. The photo has already gained more than three million likes.
Last weekend, the "Can't Keep My Hands to Myself" singer made her come-back appearance at the 2016 American Music Awards. As reported by Daily Mail, Selena made a brave and tearful acceptance speech at the event after winning the Favorite Female Pop/Rock Artist award.
"You guys are so damn loyal and I don't know what I did to deserve you," Selena said on her acceptance speech. The "Kill 'Em With Kindness" singer also said that if someone is broken, he does not have to stay broken. Selena also said that that is one thing the people should know about her-she cares about people.
Selena has spent the previous months taking a break from her career. Reports state that the "Can't Keep My Hands to Myself" singer took the time off to go on rehab after being diagnosed with lupus while others report that Selena did it to focus on her mental health.
