The Dragon Ball Super phenomena continue, and it has released one of the most awaited filler episode of all time which is 'Trunks and Gohan of the Future.' Fans are bound to witness the adaptation of Future Trunks backstory.

It was reported before during the Zamasu Arc, that creators of Dragon Ball Super franchise have decided to recreate the 'Future Trunks' story. The fans hype towards Trunks heightened because of his great performance in defeating Merged Zamasu. Who can't forget the Ki-Blade sword?

Recently, it was announced that the Future Trunks backstory is set to be released December 17th this year. To the surprise of Dragon Ball Super Fans, the Future Trunks backstory will include Future Gohan.

It was reported that the Future Gohan and Trunks episode will feature the time of the Cell Saga. The episode will be comprised of the events from 386 and 387 in Legend 14.

There are multiple rumors circulating that Gohan and Trunks will merge forming Gohanks. Also, the possibility of Trunks reaching Super Saiyan Blue is not taken out of the context. Although, the said facts are considered rumors as of the moment, fans are anticipating it to happen especially the return of Gohan into action.

Previously, reports state that the possibility of Gohan participating in the Hit Saga was rumored to commence on the upcoming Dragon Ball Super new arc. Since the start of Dragon Ball Super franchise, Gohan has been living in a bubble of ignorance. Is the Future Gohan and Trunks filler episode prequels Gohan's return into the battlefield?
