Tapu Fini is also known as the guardian deity of Poni Island in “Pokemon Sun and Moon”. There is a total of 4 islands in the Alola region and each of them has their own guardian deity. It is the 10th strongest Pokemon in the S-Tier category so it is one of the legendary Pokemon in the game. This article provides all the information a player will need to find and catch Tapu Fini.

Where to Find Tapu Fini in “Pokemon Sun and Moon”

Tapu Fini can only be unlocked when the player has completed the game’s story mode and has successfully defeated the Elite 4. A cut scene should come right after winning over them and Lillie will tell the player to visit Ruins of Conflict. As the player reach the first Ruin, it will prompt a battle with the guardian deity of that location. This will be followed by a cutscene that leads the player to go to the next Ruin until all four are conquered.

Tapu Fini is the last guardian deity the player will encounter. All the player needs to do is touch the statue found at the end of Ruins of Hope to trigger the cut scene where Tapu Fini will appear. To reach this Ruin, though, players need to have Machamp as a Poke ride.

How to Catch Tapu Fini

There are two things a player must keep in mind when battling Tapu Fini. First, she will be on level 60 so it's good to have Pokemon on a higher level in their party. Second is Tapu Fini has an Aqua Ring so she can heal herself from time to time. If the player has a good lineup of Pokemon in his party and has kept a lot of Ultra balls in his pocket, he should be able to catch Tapu Fini within 5 minutes.
