The hype train for "Pokemon Sun and Moon" is still on the right track as more and more fans find both of them fun, challenging, and even dubbed them the "the best Pokemon games as to date". And players can certainly attest to the popularity of the week-old Nintendo 3DS games as players all over the globe seek "Pokemon Sun and Moon" tips, tricks, and guides just to give them enough boost to get ahead.

One Pokemon game feature that has been a mainstay ever since "Pokemon Gold and Silver" release is the breeding of Pokemon. And as expected, this feature has been retained in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" but long-time fans need to note that there have been changes made to the 2016 released RPG adventure games.

Where to breed Pokemon in Pokemon Sun and Moon

To breed Pokemon in "Pokemon Sun and Moon," players should head over to Paniola Ranch in Akala Island, the second of the four main areas in Alola. As soon as the player has defeated a series of trainers on the farm, he/she must find an exit to go to the Pokemon Nursery. Outside waiting is Ranch Girl and Miltank, a milk cow Pokemon. The player should then go into the Nursery and speak to the manager, he/she will be able to leave Pokemon under their care. The Nursery manager will then give the player his/her first Pokemon egg after introducing the Nursery.

How to breed Pokemon in Pokemon Sun and Moon

Players need to have a male and female Pokemon and then leave them in the Nursery for them to breed. However, the breeding couple must be in the same Egg group. And just like romantic relationships in real life, they need to like each other before they can breed. Players can talk to the Ranch Girl if they want to know the relationship status, er-how close the male and female Pokemon are at the moment.

How to get Pokemon Eggs in Pokemon Sun and Moon

As soon as the players have left a male and female Pokemon in Pokemon Sun and Moon Nursery, the breeding starts. Now, players must direct their Ride Pokemon with Ride Pager to run all the way to the long road right of Paniola Ranch. Why? Breeding takes a lot of time and in this case, the duration is measured by the number of steps the trainer makes. If players want, they can move on with their adventure but must return to the Nursery to check on your Pokemon egg.

How to know if the Pokemon Egg is ready

Return to the Pokemon Sun and Moon Ranch Girl out in front of the Nursery. Now if her arms are crossed as the player passes by, the Pokemon egg is already available to collect. The player must go talk to her to claim the Pokemon egg.

The Pokemon pair in the Nursery will keep on producing eggs so just leave them in the Nursery (highly-recommended).

So how is Ditto useful in Pokemon Sun and Moon breeding?

Don't have both male and female Pokemon in Pokemon Sun and Moon? Do you have a Ditto? This genderless Pokemon will make it happen as it can breed with other Pokemon. So if a player is in Ula'ula Island, try scouring through grass roads from the Hokulani Observatory, who knows, maybe he/she might encounter this rare Pokemon in the wild.
