‘Final Fantasy XV’ Director Looks Into Leaks; Apologizes And Plans To Take Legal Actions

The release of “Final Fantasy XV” is right on the corner and the video game’s makers have voiced out their disappointment over news that there have been leaks released. The people behind the new Square Enix game have taken the initiative to take action against the leak and to put a stop to its spread.

Copies of the new Final Fantasy video game are reportedly being sold worldwide prior to its official release. “Final Fantasy XV” was initially scheduled to release in September 2016. But because it sill needed time to tweak the game, the release has been postponed to November 2016, which will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Hajime Tabata, the director of “Final Fantasy” has released an official statement regarding the matter as he was keen on resolving the troubling matter. He has apologized for the people who leaked the video game and engaged in spreading the leak. Terribly saddened by the news, Tabata has announced that they are currently investigating the activities and will take legal actions against those who have caused obstruction to their business and the video game.

“And if it’s found it does obstruct the business, then we will take legal measures to stop these being posted and take them down. We apologize for all the problems caused and all this worry and angst being caused. But we are taking solid steps to address this,” he continued.

He voiced out his frustration over people spoiling the fun for the fans who have been earnestly waiting for the game to be released. There were reportedly a lot of video streams roaming the internet of players playing the full version of the video game after purchasing the leaked copies. He was determined to put a stop to the leak and to the selling of the copies prior to the release that he will be resorting to severe legal actions.

Final Fantasy XV” is a single player action role-playing game, which is the 15th main installment of the Final Fantasy video game series. It was initially planned to be released as “Final Fantasy Versus XIII” in 2013. “Final Fantasy XV” will be officially released on Nov. 29, 2016.
