Ubisoft's "Watch Dogs 2" reviews have started rolling out following its PS4 and Xbox One release. Unlike its predecessor, the second version has a new setting with a lighter approach. So what are the critics saying about "Watch Dogs 2"?

The Telegraph

"Watch Dogs 2" review by The Telegraph states that it sports a major improvement than the forerunner, calling the previous one an easy game to hate. While the review criticized the irritatingly repetitive pipe puzzles, it appreciates the writing as amusing. All in all, Telegraph was impressed particularly with its smart script, gorgeous world, and improved satire. (Rating: 4/5 stars)

IGN

The "Watch Dogs 2" review by IGN wrapped up by stating that the game has a unique puzzle and hacking mechanisms that set the game apart from "Grand Theft Auto" as gamers play through its different locations. While Marcus might seem too affable to cause such a wide-scale hullabaloo, the missions can be achieved non-violently with the use of stealth. (Rating: 8.5/10 stars)

The Guardian

The Guardian reported its "Watch Dogs 2" review with apparent delight calling the game "witty" and "charming." The review also states that it is a big improvement compared to the previous "Watch Dogs" version of the dull protagonist, and other morally questionable gameplay. While the second version has its downside, the colorful characters and the fun playing around with the mechanics make the game a great adventure. (Rating: 4/5 stars)

Gamespot

Gamespot added "Watch Dogs 2" review with much optimism. The review states that the PVP-enabled online hack is a fun addition to the game, but there are plenty of gameplay to go around for those playing solo. It has a lot of wacky quests with light missions like saving Tom Cruise and other celebrities from hi-jacking. It is an energetic and fun game filled with many possibilities. (Rating: 8/10 stars)

Ubisoft "Watch Dogs 2" was launched November 15 on PS4 and Xbox One, while the PC version will be released on November 29.
