The iPad Air 3 was the most awaited device from Apple in 2016, however, the recent event from the software company made its release delayed. Meanwhile, The company launched the 12.9-inch iPad Pro version with spectacular features and specifications incorporated in it. New reports now tell that Apple will launch the new iPad Air 3 in 2017.

More specifically, it is said that the company will unveil iPad Air 2 successor in the first quarter of next year. It is expected that the upcoming iPad Air 3 will have a better feel and sleeker look because it will be slimmer.

As expected, claims have surfaced that the new device will have impressive specifications and features. There were rumors that it will come with an Apple Pencil that will give the iPad Air 3 an edge over its rivals and a 4K screen display that is equipped with 3D Touch technology, according to Yibada.

Furthermore, several features of iPhone 7 are likely to be incorporated into the new tablet such as the dual camera set-up at the back and A9 processor of iPhone 6. The processor will be coupled with 3GB RAM for faster efficiencies and processing of data in the iPad Air 3.

According to a BGR report, Apple iPad Air 3 will reportedly have four-speaker audio system and complete Apple support together with fingerprint scanning technology, touch ID, lightning ports and Bluetooth 4.2.

Moreover, it is likely that the forthcoming tablet will be available in the 32GB and the 16GB storage. The price of the device is anticipated to be about $610. However, no confirmations have yet been made by Apple regarding the iPad Air 3.

Meanwhile, the retailer Target is selling the 32 GB iPad Air 2 for $274. The original price of the tablet is $399 price. The retailer is also offering iPad Pro and mini at huge discounts. The iPad Pro 9.7-inch is available for $449 and iPad mini 2 is available for $199.79.
