In the final moments of this week’s episode of “Jane the Virgin,” Alba dislikes the idea of Rafael’s new romance. Elisabeth Rohm is heating up someone’s love life on "Jane the Virgin" and it might not be with who you think. Keep on reading for the latest.

AV Club have reported that Jane’s cousin will be appearing on the show In the upcoming episode. The description of the episode has already been confirmed. According to the synopsis, the return of Petra brings "Jane The Virgin" back to a familiar situation. Tensions has been settling down especially that Michael has already recovered from the shooting incident.

Almost everything is back to normal, but things change as Jane's sexy, well-travelled, wildly adventurous cousin, Catalina comes into the picture. She’s the first cousin Jane has ever had, and Jane’s weakness for family and romantic living makes her very susceptible to Catalina’s charm, although she should know better than to open her home to a person who is basically a stranger. The addition of Catalina will surely shake things up.

Towards the end of last weeks episode “Jane The Virgin” Alba is shown to take a disliking to Rafael’s new found love. She’s now warned Jane several times to be wary of newly introduced long-lost cousin Catalina just as Rafael’s falling hard for her. Cousin Catalina shares his background and cultural capital, and lives in his world, so Jane’s feeling a little bit like a bumpkin, understandably. But it’s not Jane’s feelings that the fans need to worry about. It’s Rafael’s. Screener TV suggested that this could lead to something more in terms of where the story goes from here. Only time will tell.

Tv Line reported that The Law & Order alum is joining the cast of The CW’s telenovela-style comedy this season in “a major recurring role,” She’ll play a soft-spoken guru named Eileen, and she’ll be romancing. Not with Rafael, but with his unstable sister Luisa, played by Yara Martinez. (Does this mean Eileen is evil? Because after Rose/Sin Rostro, we know Luisa has a thing for bad girls.)
