As many "Hunter x Hunter" fans know, the 360th series of "Hunter x Hunter" Manga was released around 4 months ago, and nobody has heard anything from them since. Many are speculating and theorizing the thought that the series could have been discontinued.

Ever since the launch of their smartphone game, fans have been left in the dark as to what’s going on with the "Hunter x Hunter" franchise. According to Mobile N Apps, a rumour has been going around that they are planning on replacing current artist Yoshishiro Togashi with "Tokoyo Ghoul". Apparently, the reason why this rumour circulated is because it is reported that the original author will no longer be able to return to work.

Movie News Guide reports that Shueisha believes that "Hunter x Hunter" writers may to return to continue the series. He is planning on hiring new writers so they can end the series as quickly as possible. Failing to do so may affect the overall credibility of the show itself and lessen their audience.

Yoshishiro Togashi, the creator of "Hunter x Hunter" had supposedly had back problems and was bed ridden for the past couple of months. But ever since he got well again, he hasn’t reported to the manga series producers to continue "Hunter x Hunter" production, this is why Shueisha is planning on get new writers.

Is there still hope for the series? Or is the series being cancelled? Grank Hollywood suggests that other sources are more optimistic about the matter than others. They suggest that the original creator may have ten, or maybe more chapters on the series already completed and waiting for a surprise release. But the question is, when will he release them, and will he? Only time will tell if the series will be discontinued or unexpectedly revived.
