"The Late Late Show'' host James Corden was tapped to host the 59th Grammy Awards this 2017. ''Carpool Karaoke'' series star replaces rapper and "NCIS: Los Angeles" star LL Cool J, who has exhibited the show since 2011.

Corden's selection returns off from his successful 'Carpool Karaoke' series, which has included stars like Adele, Sir Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga. In any case, the segment, which features prominent performers hitch a ride in Corden's car while singing along their greatest hits, has turned out to be his greatest achievement, garnering on more than two billion plays on YouTube alone.

On account of 'Carpool Karaoke,' fans have been on some mind-blowing rides with James, and The Recording Academy couldn't be more eager to welcome his energy and eagerness for music, both as a performer and a fan, to the Grammy stage on February 12.  Corden has huge shoes to fill after the glorious run with LL Cool J, yet James Corden is a summoning, dynamic actor who, and is expected to be the perfect host for the Grammy Awards as Recording Academy President and CEO Neil Portnow previously said.

Since Corden has been moved to America to host 'The Late Show' a year ago, Corden has seen his profile rise exponentially. He won approvals for facilitating the Tony Awards which perceive accomplishment on Broadway prior this year and his show won an Emmy Award in September.

The Grammys are set to be live from Staples Center in Los Angeles Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, at 8 p.m. ET, 5 p.m. PT. The broadcast is being created by AEG Ehrlich Ventures for the Recording Academy, with Ehrlich serving as executive producer, Louis J. Horvitz as the director, Ben Winston as a producer and David Wild as the writer.
