With the "American Horror Story" Season 6 coming to a close, a teaser reveals a clue that reveals a lot about the upcoming Season 7. Ryan Murphy's imagination takes the viewers to different dimensions of thrill, horror, suspense, and even at times, annoyance. What could Season 7 hold? While the teaser has a lot to say, it reveals too little.
Following the season finale of "American Horror Story", there's a video of calm sea waves with splices of stick dolls complete with creepy music to boot. The caption claims that the monsters are gone. Could this mean that season 7 will be at sea? Is this a sign that the storyline will revolve around ghost ships? Are there really dolls spliced in the ocean waves?

While the stick dolls could just be a lighting trick meant to tease "American Horror Story" fans, there are speculations that the hint is related to one of the subplots of "American Horror Story" season 6. While the primary plot of the previous season focused on Roanoke colony, Lady Gaga guest starred in the season as Scáthach. The Englishwoman Scáthach with a Druid lineage travels by boat to America. The sea voyage, later on, became deadly as the colonists who were hunting her traveled by sea as well. The vessel could be the ghost ship that will be debuting in the next season of "American Horror Story" series.
Ryan Murphy revealed that "American Horror Story" Season 7 could result in a callback of the fourth season. He adds that next year, fans can expect more depth into the Freak Show characters, including deeper myths. However, they are still "exploring" the plot - meaning, this is not definitive, yet. He also made mention of Scáthach being an important character in the "American Horror Story" mythology, calling her an Original Supreme. So, viewers could expect more Lady Gaga in the following seasons.
"American Horror Story" Season 7 will air in the Fall of 2017 on FX.
