Despite several different websites claiming that the most recent episode of The Walking Dead is its worst one yet, fans seem to have a different take on the show. Several websites have claimed that the episode was the "worst filler episode" of the show thus far.

Except, this wasn't really the case. The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 5 was the feel-good episode every fan wanted to see. For the first time in what seemed to be the longest weekly episodes, fans are finally seeing a light at the end of the dark tunnel.

The episode, entitled "Go Getters" showed a recovering Maggie and Sasha at the Hilltop. The episode opened with Maggie waking up after being out "for a while". Doctor Carson is tending to her and giving her the best possible care for a pregnant woman and an unborn child in the zombie apocalypse. Everything seemed to be alright as Maggie's baby is healthy.

However, as it is The Walking Dead, every fan knows that not everything is alright. Later, the setting switches back to Alexandria where Rick, Michonne and Carl seemed to be having a family discussion - or an argument, rather - about scavenging supplies for the Saviors. Carl is standing his ground against getting anything for Negan while Rick is trying to convince him to do otherwise. Michonne is still in the middle, and Carl is trying to convince her to show Rick that he's wrong.

Michonne tries to be the voice of reason and tells Carl she's still unsure whether Rick is wrong or right. Once Michonne left, Carl saw something in the distance. This has caused a lot of fans to think that maybe Carl saw an opportunity to ride away and find Negan and his men. It turns out that the only thing Carl found out was that Enid's trying to sneak out and go to the Hilltop to help Maggie.

At this point, it is pretty clear that Enid is Sophia's counterpart from The Walking Dead's graphic novel. In the comic series created by Robert Kirkman, Sophia was adopted by Maggie and Glenn when Carol died (yes, the badass Carol died in the comics). Carl tried to convince Enid to stay, and that he wouldn't save her again should she try and go over the walls. Enid was firm on her decision and left anyway.

Back at the Hilltop, Maggie and Sasha are mourning Glenn and Abraham's death. This was a good scene as it gave the fans a chance to grieve and mourn both man's passing, too. In the process, fans were able to see the return of Hershel's old watch. The camera then focuses on Jesus, making his way to pay his respects to both men and their widows. A confrontation then ensues when Gregory sees Maggie and Sasha, telling them to leave before any of the Saviors see them.

Naturally, Jesus was quick to come in Maggie and Sasha's defense. This created a lot of friction between Gregory and Jesus that would only develop stronger throughout the episode. The leader of the Hilltop gave Maggie and Sasha a chance to stay the night with the firm order that they should leave the very next day. This gave fans a lot more reasons to hate Gregory.

Fans then follow Enid's journey towards the Hilltop. Unfortunately for her, she came across a group of walkers and she's clearly outnumbered. Just when fans begin to fear that Enid might be the latest victim of The Walking Dead's writers' killing spree, Carl came to her rescue.

At the Hilltop, the Saviors played a mean trick to Hilltops' residents as they lead a group of walkers inside the gates by means of music and fire. Thankfully, Sasha valiantly fought through the walkers alongside Jesus. Maggie showed how an effective leader should be by taking charge of the situation. Fans can also see Gregory retreating back to his room while all of these ensues.

The morning after, the Saviors paid the Hilltop a visit led by Simon, Negan's right-hand man. During Simon's conversation with Gregory, the showrunners did not fail to show how cowardly and utterly gutless the "leader" of the Hilltop can be.

It was truly a great moment for the fans, as for the first time in a long while, they were able to see Negan's men not tormenting their favorite group of survivors. It was better to see the Saviors imposing their will on a gutless leader than on Rick.

Collective breaths were held when fans thought that Maggie and Sasha were almost thrown under the bus by Gregory. Thankfully, good old Jesus was quick enough to know that this could happen so he hid them in a safer place. What Gregory thought would be the closet where the ladies hid turned out to be the closet where he hides his own stash of liquor. Gregory had no choice but to give up his box of fine scotch. In the scene, fans can see Jesus attempting to hide his amusement in the background. Karma sure does know when to hit back.

It was also great to see Maggie stand up against Gregory and call him out on his BS. Nothing says girl power more than punching the guy who keeps forgetting your name.

As the Saviors pack up to leave, fans can see Carl and Enid hiding in the woods, waiting for their chance to get out. As he did in the comics, Carl sneaked in the back of one Saviors truck, with the plan to kill Negan and his men.

Meanwhile, fans can see Jesus, Maggie and Sasha having a conversation about leadership which obviously hints of Maggie's soon leadership role on the Hilltop. Once Maggie left, Sasha ordered Jesus to find out where Negan lives.

At the end of the episode, fans watch as Jesus stealthily rides at the back of the Saviors' truck. The very same one Carl had sneaked up in. This is where they met, and it was very much obvious to the fans that this marks the moment when the survivors fight back.
