Black Friday 2016 News: Sony’s Up To 60% Discounts For PS4, PS3, and PS Vista Video Games Confirmed

Sony has confirmed that there would be a PlayStation Black Friday 2016 event next week following the release of a 30-second YouTube ad by PlayStation Europe that teases discounts of up to 60% on PSN. The video's series of sequences features people who are standing right in front of a giant fan. The ad ends with the message "you play it cool this Black Friday."

According to Gamespot, the video directs viewers toward a page on the PlayStation website. The ad's Black Friday 2016 US version is yet to be unveiled but European shoppers can sign up on the website to get a notification once the sale starts. The PlayStation EU account on Twitter reveals that the deals with kick off on Thursday, which is Thanksgiving Day.

In 2015, Sony's Black Friday bonanza offered reduced prices of more than hundred PS4, PS3, and Vita games. Sony also put a 10-percent off from everything a shopper purchased. Sony is yet to release official details of their Black Friday deals.

Cinema Blend reported that the PS Store's sales will start on November 24, a minute past midnight and will be available until Monday, November 28. Sony sent an email campaign which provides a link to the PlayStation Store's Black Friday section. North Americans are expected to receive the same email which has been disseminated in Europe, the UK, and Australia.

Sony is expected to offer discounts on games such as "Unchartered 4" for the PS4 or the entire "Unchartered" series for PS3, PS4, and the PlayStation Vita. Bargain deals are also seen for "Beyond: Two Souls"and the"God of War" series as well as the "The Order 1886" and "Bloodborne" video games.

A number of retailers have been unveiling their Black Friday 2016 deals recently. One of them is Amazon, which launched its own range of pre-Black Friday deals. Other retailers such as BestBuy, Costco, GameStop, Target, Kohl's, Sam's Club, Toys R Us, and WalMart are also promoting their Black Friday offers.

Sony's rival company Microsoft has also announced on November 18 its Black Friday sale on the Xbox Store for Xbox Live Gold members.
