The "Mercedes-Maybach S 650" got an immediate attention after it introduced in Los Angeles motor show 2016. The car is coming with an open top, yet it is convertible and considered to be a beast with 621 bhp power and 6.0-litre twin-turbo V12 engine. The first cabriolet from the brand will be produced in limited numbers and it will be 300 in total. Only 75 of them will be available for U.S. and the price tag of the Maybach S 650 is around $300,000.

The Maybach S 650 cabriolet will be available in 3 colors and that are Diamond White, Cote d'Azur Blue, and Zircon Red. The priciest car from the maker received great appreciation from auto reviewers. The interesting question is, will it be made available in more numbers considering the hype. It is reported that many people wanted to know its details, available numbers, specialties etc.

The immediate answer to the production number increase of Mercedes-Maybach S 650 cabriolet is no. There can't have any production number increase be expected in near future. But, if there is a persistent demand for the vehicle, the car maker may increase the production numbers to adjust the geographies, per reports. It should be remembered that the premium cars like Mercedes-Maybach S 650 cabriolet is not meant for mass production and only serve per customer order.

Secondly, the limited edition cars are encouraged to increase the brand value of the firm and would mostly become with less profit price tag. The Mercedes-Maybach brand sells up to 600 cars a year worldwide, so the count 300 for Maybach S 650 cabriolet is not actually very limited.

Remember that Mercedes-Maybach S 650 cabriolet competes with Rolls-Royce Dawn and it comes with a price tag $335,000 for the base model, but the on-road price shows that it is $400,000. This cabriolet is actually coming with 563 bhp and has 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12 engine. Interestingly, the total sales of all Rolls-Royce cars are 3,785 worldwide in 2015.

Mercedes-Maybach S 650 cabriolet became a sensation in Los Angeles motor show 2016. The exclusivity of the car is the most important aspect of this vehicle and it would take the brand name of the maker further.
