The last episode of "Westworld" concluded to be moving to another phase of the series and it would be leading to further escalations in episode 8 "Trace Decay". The 7th episode ends with the order of Dr. Ford to Bernard to kill Theresa. It also showed that the Westworld Park is not meant to satisfy the humans with their pleasure needs, but to expose their true character.

With only two more episodes remaining after "Westworld" Trace Decay, the episode is expected to answer few questions and would reveal few more theories. The real face of the Dr. Ford is expected to reveal further as the plot grows. Interestingly, the last episode has clearly shown that Bernard is a host who was created in the secret underground lab.

Dr. Ford may try to make more hosts who can work like Bernard to utilize for his secret strategies in Westworld Trace Decay. The company behind the plan of the "Westworld" Park, Delos Corporation has some specific plans and it could be trying to experiment with machines before making them available for mass destruction. There are also other theories about the actual vision of the corporation and its motive including it could be an arm-seller in reality.

Is the Man In Black really a guest or not? It shows that he is an old sadistic guest and at the same time searching for new means of pleasure from the first episode of "Westworld". There can be theories that he could be a host and would be trying to behave as a guest prototype to encourage others to explore further. It is also reported that he can behave as a representative of the guests and divert them when the things get escalated in Westworld Park.
