‘The Crown’ Season Two: Prediction, Spoilers, And Historical Timeline. Will This Cover The Entire Decade That Great Britain Changed?

The momentous Royal Drama Series "The Crown" Season One was as much enlightening that establishes both our understanding and grasp of history and the people in it. This is one of the closest silver screen literature that allowed the public to get close and personal with the Royal Family.

The story set in November 1947 on the day Princess Elizabeth Windsor was to marry to the newly naturalized Philip Mountbatten. Harper Bazaar published that Season One ended with Princess Margaret was drastically angry ate her sister as she publicly canceled her engagement with Peter Townsend in October of 1955.

As planned there are six seasons Netflix was preparing for this Royal Series. This will have a window period of a decade starting in 1956. This was the decade that Great Britain stormed by the modern changes in a different aspect of politics and trade.

"The Crown" Season Two expected to present Queen Elizabeth II who received the governments of Harold Macmillan and Sir Alec Douglas-Home respectively, and the fourth since Winston Churchill and first time from the Labour Party Sir Harold Wilson. This was the era where abortion legalized, death penalty abolished, and homosexuality is decriminalized.

Significant features for this decade was when Britain lost its holdings in Egypt and lost control of the Suez Canal. According to Movie Pilot, it is also expected that the rise of the Beatles that in 1963 they performed an audience with the Queen Mother and Princess Elizabeth. This was the time John Lennon himself cracked a joke saying "On this next number I want you all to join in. Would those in the cheap seats clap their hands the rest of you can rattle your jewelry".

Britain also moves to have its own nuclear power which was strongly protested by the people. It was the same time that the government was in crisis when the Secretary of War was cheating with his wife to a local Call Girl Christine Keeler which eventually was also having an affair with a naval officer of the Soviet Forces. 

In this era was the rise of woman in power. The Iron Lady of Europe the Lady Margaret Tatcher held the British Government until the year 1970. This was also the time that the sovereign gave a televised Christmas message to its subject.

Netflix, said on TV Series Finale, have prepared each episode for this season based in the credits of history timeline and the lives of the Royal Family. "The Crown" has truly drawn viewers as they gave 9.1 over 10 with IMDb, 5 over 5 from Common Sense Media and a 91% rating approval from Rotten Tomato.
