Within just four days after "PlayStation 4 Pro" was released, Sony has sold quite a number of units in Japan. The numbers are recorded by japanese site Famitsu.

Siliconera explains the statistics in plain english and states that the upgraded version of Sony's most loved gaming console, the PlayStation 4 Pro, garnered 65,194 unit sales in Japan for only four days from its release on November 10. This is the upgraded model alone. When they looked into PlayStation 4's other gaming consoles, Sony also sold out 93,512 units within the same period when the Pro was released.

This is just what the records show at the start of the release, though. Developers hope that they will gain more customers when new versions of popular games get released. Sony expect to get a sales hike when Final Fantasy XV gets out on the market by November 29; The Last Guardian by December 6 and Yakuza 6 by December 8. Aside from these release dates being the reason of the increase of sales, the holiday season is also just around the corner, making the newest version of PlayStation 4 one of the top things as best gifts for this season.

Forbes writer Paul Tassi seems to be unsatisfied by how PlayStation 4 Pro turned out to be, though. While he is amazed at how well the console got compatible with his 4K HDR TV and at how the console provided better framerate in some of the most popular games in the market, he was surprised at how he got easily accustomed to its controls, even when it's just days after he received his unit. However, this might just be one side of the whole picture as gamers are starting to swarm to get their own upgraded units at home.
