‘People’s Princess’ Diana: Her Fashion Story After 20 Years

Princess Diana from a simple teenager to a glamorous fashion icon of the world was remembered on her 20th death anniversary. There are much dedication happening from a tribute garden in Kensington Palace to an exhibit of his dresses and jewelries.

Kensington Palace, in an official statement, has released details of the upcoming "Diana: Her Fashion Story", published by Vogue. This will include celebration of style and girlishly demure of the late Princess being shared to the world.

In the official Press Release, it states "The exhibition will bring together an extraordinary collection of garments, ranging from the glamorous evening gowns worn on engagements in the Eighties,". The original fashion sketch from her favorite fashion designer will include in the displayed.

On BBC News, it was also reported that a memorial garden in her home for 15 years will be dedicated to her. "The White Garden" is the name of the floral tribute for the Princess. Today, Kensington Palace is the home both for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry.

These plans have been closely monitored by Prince William and Prince Harry, to commemorate their mother's life. The "Diana: Her Fashion Story" will be on February 24 2017, while the floral tribute will be open to the public on the 2017 spring and summer.

USA Today also published that the display will include the velvet gown worn by the Princess when she visited the White House in 1985 where she danced with the famous John Travolta. She also wore the pale pink Emanuel blouse on her engagement.

There are also outfits of Princess Diana that will be displayed for the first time. Her clothes have been a collector's item worldwide and have been helpful in the quest for charities in auctions. this include the purchase of the velvet gown for $360,000 by an anonymous British man.
