"Harry Potter GO" is rumored to be developed by Niantic while basking in the success of "Pokemon Go". The new game is expected to work on the lines of Pokemon Go and would be an Augmented Reality game per industrial analysts. Since the movie and book series of Harry Potter is extremely successful, the expectation about Harry Potter GO touches the roof.

It was been reported many times earlier that the game Harry Potter GO is under development, but no further clarification or follow-up information was available. The fans were excited with the game as the movie series and book series of Harry Potter was finished by 2011. Now, they are expecting that Harry Potter GO is under development and an official announcement about it will be released at any time soon.

Interestingly, Harry Potter GO has few fan-made trailers and the comments regarding the game in social media are surging day-by-day. There are reports that almost 40,000 people have petitioned online to Niantic to materialize the Harry Potter GO at the earliest. More details about the game including whether it would be working in the line AR or not and release date, among others,  would be revealed when the game will be announced.

"We got the rights for the app development, we are trying our level best to best for the official announcement in early 2017," one of the senior developers of Niantic said. "But, further details about Harry Potter GO app can't be said including the release date." It is a good gesture to know that the developer is seriously thinking about Harry Potter GO game and crazy fans can expect more information in the coming months.

Fans are asking the developer to make the next installment of the game or a new game according to their choice. The online petition for Harry Potter GO should be considered similar to "Skate 4" petition and the fans even requested to Whitehouse to intervene on the issue and make arrangements for its development.
