The much awaited "PS4 Pro" has been released with excellent reviews and both consumers and critics are found to be happy with the product. But, there are some issues found with the device that some of TVs are not working with PS4 Pro, especially when using 4K games. To make more disappointment, many users who contacted PlayStation support team were directed towards TV manufacturers and the later asked them to go back to Sony.

Some of the tips for PS4 Pro issue may help users to fix the problem themselves. Users can check whether the HDMI port is correctly supporting 4K input or not. Some TVs are also having HDMI ports that do not support 4K input along with 4K port. If it is correctly connected switch on HDR mode on the TV before going ahead with PS4 Pro. People might find it difficulty in setting HDR mode as manufacturers use a different set of names and settings according to TVs, so refer TV manual.

People who are trying to connect the PS4 Pro through their receiver, try to unplug HDMI and connect it directly to the TV, as some people found this procedure useful in getting the device properly set up. Also try to update all the firmware on the TV, as it might not have added the HDR DLC when the TV bought, but the hardware could be supporting 4K; connect the TV with PS4 Pro.

The HDMI cable uses between TV and PS4 Pro may not be of enough to handle 4K HDR data. Also, make sure that the cable is Premium certified. PlayStation Support advises switching to Safe Mode if nothing is being displayed on the screen. Finally, make sure that you are playing a 4K compatible game in the console. Remember that only HDR coded games would be played in HDR mode as PS4 Pro can't play other games in 4K.

It is expected that Sony might come up with a troubleshooting guide in the coming days as more people complained about it. Since PS4 Pro was appraised as the best by gamers, the firm knows any technical issues would really tarnish the image of the finely developed product.
