'Rogue One' Updates, Spoilers; Trailer Draws Jyn's Backstory; Necklace Is Kyber Crystal?

With just a few weeks from now, fans will finally witness Rogue One: A Star Wars Story as it opens in theaters Dec 15, 2016. Another international trailer for the film has unveiled thrilling flicks featuring details on Jyn Erso's (Felicity Jones) life. Story rotates around a group of revolutionaries who plan to invade the supreme armed force base to take plans for the first Death Star.

Toward the start of the clasp, viewers can witness Lyra, mother of Jyn played by "The Fall" on-screen character Valene Kane, surprisingly. It portrays Lyra giving youthful Jyn a precious stone necklace asking her to "trust the Force," pretty much as her parents go under assault from the villain Director Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn) and his armed force of Death Troopers.

Several fans online have concluded that the expansive jewel seen is really a Kyber crystal, a material used to make lightsabers and also being the thing that makes the Death Star operational. Another intriguing piece that can be taken from the trailer is that just before the precious stone scene, Jyn's father Galen Erso (Mads Mikkelsen) can be heard disclosing to her that whatever he does, he does it to ensure her.

Mikkelsen prompted the fans at the Star Wars Celebration in London that his character "once manufactured something 'so delightful' for the universe" which drove numerous fans to guess that he was included in the formation of the Imperial Army's Death Star. With these, fans must wait to discover more revelations and surprises from this much-awaited prequel/spinoff film.

Obviously, Disney is cheerful that the film will be a worldwide hit, and not only a raving success locally. It's therefore that the studio additionally cuts universal previews trying to advance to the outside business sectors. Over the late spring, Lucasfilm discharged the first of these, and now that the opening date is approaching, another one has been announced online.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards, also starring Diego Luna, Donnie Yen, Alan Tudyk, Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker.
