'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' Release Date, News & Update: Albus Dumbledore Joins Movie

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them"  will excite fans of Harry Potter surely can't wait for the highly-anticipated HP spin-off. "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them"  will bring them back to their favorite magical world. Recently, they are given more reason to be excited as their favorite headmaster would be seen again on the big screen.

Beasts director David Yates confirmed that the character of Albus Dumbledore will have his appearance again on the magical world of JK Rowling. But not on the first movie.

Dumbledore will be seen by Potterheads as the younger version of himself on the film's sequel. He will grace again with his wisdom and magic on the five-film franchise in the "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them"  movie.

Yates has already got his signature for the HP prequel's second installment. He also mentioned Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) will also return to the sequel.

The director said that Dumbledore has a couple of scenes with Newt in the second movie that would make Potterheads in awe of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" .

Right now, they are still discussing on who will play the beloved headmaster and they are still open for suggestions on who will succeed Richard Harris and Michael Gamblon.

It was announced previously that Johnny Depp will also enter the Harry Potter universe. However, Warner Brothers have not yet sparred any further details on his involvement in "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them".

But fret not, Potterheads who also loved the actor behind Edward Scissorhands and Captain Jack Sparrow, The Hollywood Reporter said he will have a cameo on the first film.

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" does not only have Redmayne, Depp, and the new actor who will play Dumbledore. It also stars Colin Farell, Ezra Miller, Jon Voight, and Samantha Morton.

The release date will be on November 18, 2016. It is written by no other than the creator of the Harry Potter universe herself, J.K. Rowling.
