"OnePlus 3" gained momentum since its release, and everybody is revved up with the upcoming flagship smartphone dubbed as "OnePlus 3T", which might be announced within the weeks to come. While the company has always been transparent in its upcoming new releases in the Android market, they have been quite secretive of its new smartphone campaigns after "OnePlus 3". But, recent leaks reveal just what OnePlus may have in store for its next Android flagship device.

In a report by Slash Gear, Qualcomm, the chip maker, leaked that the "OnePlus 3T" will be powered by its most recent Snapdragon 821 in its tweet. Other specs are similar to its predecessor OnePlus 3 including the 6GB of RAM, the screen with 1080p measuring 5.5 inches. The new phone, on the other hand, might feature a quad HD LCD screen, but the co-founder of OnePlus insists that the screen technology in Optic AMOLED is better, so it is up for debate. There will be new storage options as well, and buyers can choose between 64GB or 128GB phone selection.

Heavy smartphone users can enjoy 10% more in running or 3,300mAh battery increase. The OnePlus 3T might also come in a new jet black variant which might leave silver OnePlus 3 owners regretful. These remain unconfirmed, however, and these leaks might represent some of the improvements that can be expected in OnePlus 3T specs.

"OnePlus 3T" news might not be pleasing to "OnePlus 3" users, writes TechRadar. The updated version means an additional expense option for existing users for when they could have just saved up for the OnePlus 4 next year. The price tag for OnePlus 3T costs $479, a small leap from $399 price tag of OnePlus 3.

The leak comes from PocketNow, with reports revealing that "OnePlus" is gearing up for an event in London on Monday, this coming November 14. Stay tuned for any further signs of OnePlus new smartphone release in the coming weeks.
