'Longmire' Season 6 Update & Spoilers: Production Finishing Season 6 In New Mexico, What's Next for Walt & Vic?
The neo-western drama “Longmire” will come back for a sixth and final season, launching on Netflix. What is there to expect during the development of the new episodes?
As it was earlier reported by News Every Day, after long struggles within the show’s story and outside of it, “Longmire” has been approved by Netflix for one last season of ten episodes. Based on the “Walt Longmire Mysteries” the series has kept true to the stories of the book and its development, so they can be used as hard evidence supporting the theories of the story, where the producers and writers are keeping silent.
What has bugged fans most during the whole extent of the series are Vic (Katee Sackhoff), Walter (Robert Taylor) and their relations. Movie News Guide shares that during the five seasons of the series, the romantic and sexual tension between the characters has only risen, where it reached its pinnacle in Vic kissing Walter, but it went nowhere from there.
They become too invested into the search for Donna (Ally Walker) and trying to figure out who shot at Walter Longmire to be able to work on their feeling. Good news come here for those who have expected development since it was announced that in “Longmire” Season 6, Walter and Vic will actually be getting married. How exactly will the story develop it is unknown, but its end is certain.
Sports Rageous shares reports from the Santa Fe Film Office, that the filming locations of the new “Longmire” Season 6 will be Los Alamos, Santa Fe, Pecos and Las Vegas N.M. The series’ executive producers Hunt Baldwin, John Coveny and Greer Shephard officially thanked Netflix for giving them the opportunity to properly finish the story of “Longmire”.
They also thanked viewers for spending such a long time with them, promising true conclusion of the series, worth the wait, patience and interest that the viewers have shown over the years.
“Longmire” Season 6 is expected to air in the end on 2017, on Netflix.
