‘Code Geass’ Latest News & Update: The Power of Kings Coming Soon On British Screens

The first appearance of "Code Geass" was first witnessed in Japan from October 5, 2006. It had a run time till July 28, 2007. Its sequel ran for another 6 moths from April, 2008 till September, 2008.

"Code Geass" had since been released to international acclaim winning awards in Tokyo International Anime Fair, Animage Anime Grand Prix, and Animation Kobe Event. Praises were showered over the Anime Series in the all aspects of the anime's plot and moral issues presented.

The synopsis of "Code Geass" started in the year 2010. The Holy Empire of Brittania started to invade other nations for it to establish its supremacy based on brute strength using its superior military power. It started its invasion of Japan. Brittania succeeded in its domination over Japan and renamed it Area 11, according to an article in IMDb.

The Japanese did not take this laying down. Armed resistance spawned against the invaders to bring le in back its independence from Brittania. The exiled Prince of Brittania named Lelouch Lamperouge was caught in the middle of these armed conflict but had managed to escape. A girl then appeared to him and gave him the power of "Geass", known to be the Power of Kings.

"Code Geass" has potential power of absolute obedience that was utilized by Lelouch. He began his journey to exact revenge and rid Japan of these invaders once and for all. This masked crusader was dubbed as "Zero", from an article in myanimelist.

Last January, 2016, Manga licensed the series in UK. They listed the airing of two episodes of "Code Geass" on Blu Ray with English dubs on December 5, 2016. The showrunners later changed the date to April 10, 2017. However, the first 3 episode was already released by madmen entertainment on DVD as stated in Wikepedia

The Company Funimation will release the Anime series with English dubs on the early part of 2017.
