Head's up Pokemon fans; Pokemon GO has some interesting updates ready for you! With the latest update to Android and iOS, the game now sports the daily bonus feature, which rewards players for catching a Pokemon or visit a PokeStop for a day. Doing so for seven days will yield to more rewards and rare items at hand.

Niantic also informed that there would be higher catch rates for Pokemon until November 11. Perfect for those who are still missing out of few Pokemon in their roster or those who wants to gain more Candies to strengthen their Pokemon or evolve them. Aside from a higher catch rate, PokeStops also will reward players with extra items every time they visited a Stop every day. The Pokemon GO app released a tweet regarding this feature.

Also part of the update, players can now seize gyms without fear of being dethroned as soon as they got the gym from the previous leader. Before, it proved to be difficult to maintain a gym in your power because as soon as you defeated its former leader, there's always someone waiting to challenge you as soon as you seized the gym.

Pokestops on the road are no longer accessible for players who play the game in the car-- for passengers at least. These are not included in Niantic's patch notes for the update which the players noticed while playing. Before, the game prompts players who go at an unusual pace, usually when inside a car, that they're moving too fast. The prompt asks players to stop playing unless they're a passenger.

Aside from the updates, Niantic previously revamped Pokemon GO's in-game tracking system that provides players information on tracking down Pokemon. If you remember, the developers removed in early July to give way for the mapping system but proved to be glitchy and unreliable. Since then, Niantic has been working to further improved their tracking system before releasing it to the public.
