'Voltron" Spoilers, Updates, Movie Release; Defender Of The Universe Out In 2017

"Voltron", the Defender of the Universe, continues to ring a bell to the not so kids anymore who's has been into it since 1980s and 1990s.  This classic cartoon series invaded the television screens of most pop-culture kids.  It was a nostalgia, then, but now, no more.  Now that Netflix granted the requests of Voltron fans.  The network shared the new development as it adapted its classic series - Legendary Defender.  It has been bought by Universal and the production of this cutting edge series is under way. 

The new "Voltron" will be penned by David Hayter the lead man who will work on the film's script.  Hayter has the credits of two X Men films and the Watchmen.  With his reputation as a clever and great writer, the fans can expect more in the series while maintaining the mainstream appeal.

"Voltron", the legendary mech, features Jeremy Shada playing the voice of Lance, Pidge role will be portrayed by Bex Taylor-Klaus, Josh Keaton as Shiro, Hunk will be starred by Tyler Labine, Keith, played by Steven Yeun, Kimberly Brooks as the beautiful Princess Allura and Rhys Darby as Coran.

International star Rhys Darby in an interview admits being excited as he accepts the offer.   Darby immediately searched on line what "Voltron" is and how it appears on episodes.  Darby is Coran, the unconventional advisor to the group of human pilots who are assigned to preserve the whole universe from its cosmic threats.  The character, says Darby, is more similar to the normal him.  It's more of like sounding off his character more than just his voice.

The metal reboot gets to be reunited on screen along with the launch of Power Rangers series in 2017. Fans will be kept posted in the coming of the new series of the Defender of the Universe, "Voltron".
