Netflix has a repository of gazillion movies and television series that are available through its streaming service. With a plethora of unlimited content to choose from, viewers sometimes end up with terrible choices. Winter is almost here, so for Netflix fans, nothing is better than to spend those cold nights on the sofa and partake in Netflix's latest offerings.

Coming this November 4 is the Netflix original 'The Ivory Game', which is directed by Kief Davidson and Richard Ladkani. The documentary focuses on the poaching of elephants and investigates on the inner workings of the ivory trade. The Netflix film criticizes the legal loopholes that enable the movement of the black-market commodity.

Joel and Ethan Coen offers viewers another wacky comedy in the film 'Burn After Reading,' which top-bills Brad Pitt, Frances McDormand, and John Malkovich. The anti-spy thriller also includes Oscar winners George Clooney and Tilda Swinton.

Cult teen movie 'Sixteen Candles,' directed by John Hughes is also available on Netflix this month. Starring Molly Ringwald, the film explores the stories of several American teenagers. This 80's classic has become the poster girl of American teen romantic comedies. The film also stars Emilio Estevez.

Also worth watching is Ava DuVernay's searing documentary '13th,' which examines the impact of the passage of the 13th amendment on the mass incarceration of minorities in the U.S. including African-Americans. The 'Selma' director links ingrained cultural racism to the widespread incarceration of African-Americans and other people of color.

To be featured this month are Tom Cruise starred 'Top Gun,' 'Batman', director Christopher Nolan's first feature film 'Following, the love story 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' which stars Jim Carrey and is directed by Michel Gondry, and Tim Burton's 1999 film 'Sleepy Hollow' starring Johnny Depp.

For more information about Netflix's November 2016 offerings, Digital Trends and Paste Magazine have compiled their best bets for the month. The website Collider also provided their list of what to watch.
