Riri Williams has been speculated to replace Robert Downey Jr. in "Iron Man" 4. It seems that Downey is busy with 'Sherlock Holmes 3.' There are also speculations that the salary is the reasons of Downey not reprising the title role.

According to a report in Aussie Network News," Iron Man" 4 is all set to start production. However, the said production has become unclear because of Downey to be doing 'Sherlock Holmes 3.' It has been a while since Downey did his role as Sherlock Holmes and now he will be back once again as one.

In the same report, it is hinted that the production of "Iron Man" 4 is not happening soon. This has been hinted by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige in the same report. He hinted that sooner or later these iconic characters will be portrayed by new actors.

In a report from Mobile & Apps, it may be possible for Downey to still play the role of "Iron Man" since the character has been around for a long time. The superhero is one of Marvel's iconic characters and will stay for long. There are also story lines prepared for the superhero.

The speculated "Iron Man" 4 is yet to be confirmed and is rumored to be aired in 2020 if the film is going to push through. Robert Downey at that time may still be the one to play as Tony Stark. He had been doing the character for the previous installments.

Movie Pilot reports that Downey himself is also set to reprise his role as Tony Stark in "Iron Man" 4. Tony Stark is a billionaire who happens to inherit the Stark industries from his father. He is the CEO of Stark industries and is the one who manufactures weapons for the US military.

Meanwhile, it is still to be confirmed if "Iron Man" 4 is happening and still to be confirmed if Downey is reprising the role. A release date is likely to happen in the year 2020.
