Players of community simulation video game series Animal Crossing are reportedly having problems with the New Leaf update, which offers new features and amiibo functionality. Fans of the Nintendo video game find themselves deleting their towns due to the failure of Tom Nook to show up to negotiate in the packaged version of Animal Crossing: New Leaf - - Welcome amiibo.

According to gamer's guide website Kotaku, Animal Crossing players are confused with the dialogue stated by Isabelle when they intend to sell their towns. Isabelle copies the response of Tom Nook in the lead-up to deleting their towns.

Alex Lovendhal, an Animal Crossing fan, shared on Twitter that he ended up deleting his town just to check his price due to the failure of Nook to appear. Players that are curious about the new feature stumble into a situation where they didn't get an appraisal from selling their towns.

Cyphere, a Tumblr user and also an Animal Crossing gamer, complained about the same problem. She said that she lost all the zodiac and her blue roses.
