There had been stories popping out about Gwen Stefani. Now, she finally shares her side to the story of her marriage and all events surrounding it.

Entertainment News shares that she says that looking at her parents 50th anniversary, and seemingly perfect marriage, she realized that hers was not one like it. Considering that they are from different countries, both musicians and both people of public stature, it was not easy to keep normal relations within her family.

She claims to have tried quite hard to keep things going, but in the end it was too much for her. She did not want for her marriage to fall apart, neither did she want people to look at it like a failure or at her like someone who failed in marriage.

Yahoo shares Gwen Stefani’s outlook on everything which surrounded her marriage and the divorce which came after. She tries to keep things positive, saying that to grow, people should meet difficulties and obstacles in their life. In the end, passing through them makes you more experienced, stronger than you were before you encountered them.

Even though her almost 13 yearlong marriage with Miguel Reveriego fell apart, she sees it as a wakeup call, which she was ready to answer.

Fox News give the last insight on this story, by revealing just what was the effect of this awakening. In the aftermath of her marriage, she managed to record and release a new album. She started dating Blake Shelton and even went on a whole tour.

Even though just as surprised by her activity as everyone else, she credits the difficulties she passed through for giving her the strength and motivation to go on. Now she is more that ready to face anything that would come her way.
