Apple's big hardware event just took place this week. Lots of announcement and unveiling of new devices including the new MacBook Pro came into everyone's knowledge but who would have guessed the letters "LG" to arise.

According to TechCrunch, the hardware maker LG was enlisted by Apple to help out to create a pair of monitors for the new MacBook in mind. Everyone must have heard of the ThunderBolt 3 that was supposedly be the display of the new MacBook but according to PetaPixel, after the Apple's discontinuation of the display, the LG UltraFine 5K Display will replace it.

LG's 27-inch UltraFine 5K and the 21.5-inch UltraFine 4K is an interesting step by Apple for their focus on a sharp new screen and limited port variety. Presently, through the same cord that delivers audio, video and the like, it will have the ability to charge the laptop, coming from a statement in TechCrunch. It also have three USB-C ports, an additional FaceTime-ready camera and a microphone setup with built-in speakers.

For the pixel level, according to engadget, the 27-incher will bring 5120 x 2880 resolution with 218 ppi and the 21.5-inch will bring 4096 x 2304 4k resolution with 219 ppi. Thunderbolt 3 though have one advantage despite the problems some predicted with its ubiquity when updating the MacBook Pro. That advantage is the adjustment of screen brightness and volume which won't need a separate cable and buttons on the monitor plus its capability to power up a four 4K displays simultaneously.

The LG UltraFine 5K will be priced $1300 when shipped and the LG UltraFine 4K, which is already available for pre-order, will cost you $700 as stated in PetaPixel. Also this two models will be the official display and these siblings will be available, this November for the 4K and the 5K won't be available until December.
