There had been comparisons between the two famous shows, “American Horror Story” and “The Walking Dead.” After the premiere of “The Walking Dead” Season 7 where Negan violently kills 2 major characters, there had been reactions that that scene is linked to the latest and previous episode of “American Horror Story.”

If you are a “American Horror Story” and “The Walking Dead” and have not seen the latest episodes, be informed that this will be a major spoiler. On October 19, “American Horror Story” aired episode 6 for Roanoke. Before the show started, a title board was featured. The title board claims that the series “Roanoke Nightmare” had high ratings last year in October 2015 which had beaten all other shows including The Walking Dead.

According to Inquisitr, “American Horror Story” has never done something like that and it was the first time they hit a shot at AMC’s biggest TV show. Producers of the show still would not let go and would not stop provoking “The Walking Dead.”

To give a short recap of “American Horror Story,” according to Entertainment Weekly, episode 7 highlighted Shelby and Matt suffering and in distress throughout the episode. However, when the episode was about to end, Matt had told Shelby that “he only came back for the evil witchy character that had once been played by Lady Gaga.”

This infuriated Shelby since she only considered signing up for Return To Roanoke: Three Days In Hell show was to attempt to save her marriage. When Matt walked past Shelby to rush after the witchy woman, she smashed a crowbar to his skull, not just one quick hit, it was more of complete disfigurement of Matt’s head.

This scene may look familiar, you be the judge.

That “The Walking Dead” Season 7 Episode 1 scene made fans question if that specific episode of “American Horror Story” was originally planned to be that way or was it intentionally changed and timed to go side by side with the same scene as “The Walking Dead” just three nights before.

Digital Spy’s review says that “American Horror Story” made “The Walking Dead” look so “soft.” This is probably what “American Horror Story” is aiming for. It is quite obvious that producers of “American Horror Story” knew what’s going to happen in “The Walking Dead” Season 7 and possibly did that scene on purpose to ride on to the premiere of “The Walking Dead” Season 7.
