'AMD Zen' Is The Response Of AMD To The Intel i7 Series; New AM4 Chipset Is Set Release With AMD Zen

AMD confirms that they will be releasing the new "AMD Zen" CPU early next year and is known to be the response of AMD to the Intel's Broadwell-E processors. This will be a great news for all the AMD fans around the world due to the fact that AMD is cheaper than Intel.

As per the WCCF Tech, AMD CEO Dr. Lisa Su said that their company is expecting a minimal and seasonal sale next year of the "AMD Zen" CPU which is called the Summit Ridge. AMD is looking towards the "AMD Zen" to compete with Intel's high-end desktop CPU.

The PC Gamer had a glance of the new "AMD Zen" architecture and it shows how amazing this new high-end desktop CPU is. Everyone was amused with the AMD Zen-based CPU, which contains a higher clock speed that expected, the Ocaholic reported.

The "AMD Zen" will feature a massive 8-Core SKU that can perform well at 3.15GHz clock. The "AMD Zen"call also be boosted up to 3.6GHz. This pattern shows that this is a big leap of improvement as the 8-Core SKU is running in the same TDP range.

The next "AMD Zen" SKU is a 4-Core CPU with the AMD hyper-threading capabilities. Aside from its base clock of 2.9GHz it is also equipped with 65W TDP and can be boosted from 3.1GHz up to the maximum 3.4GHz.

Meanwhile, AMD is also set to release the new AM4 motherboards. As of the moment, the new X370 AM4 has been used to test the "AMD Zen" CPU's. The X370 AM4 motherboard equipped with powerful and high-end chipset and is expected to launch alongside with the "AMD Zen" next year 2017.

In addition, AMD will also launch "AMD Zen" Server Processors in the mid 2017. The "AMD Zen" is expected to perform and compete closer or even better than Intel iCore series.
