With the US presidential elections nearing, people are deciding whether they will vote for Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton. But there are some who cannot find a better way to express themselves in terms of how they feel about Trump. Recently, the Donald Trump Walk of Fame Star was destroyed by a man who might have a huge grudge on the presidential candidate. Who could have done this?

Early Wednesday morning, a man dressed as a construction worker complete with a hard hat and a reflective vest, was seen with a sledgehammer and a pickaxe. He used these to break and destroy the star of the Republican presidential candidate.

According to Officer Norma Eisenman of the Los Angeles Police Department, they received a phone call about the incident at about 6 a.m.

Deadline Hollywood senior editor Dominic Patten witnessed the incident and even had a talk with the man. According to him, the man attempted to get the star to auction it and raise money. But what was more surprising was his purpose in selling the star. He said that he is doing it on behalf of the women who claimed to be sexual assault and harassment victims of Trump.

Later on, the man was identified as Jamie Otis. However, his identity has yet to be confirmed. Five minutes after trying to pry one of the points of the star, he left. But the Walk of Fame Star of Trump was already damaged.

The authorities who came to the site immediately covered it with a tent. It is said that the damage cost about $2,500.

Aside from this incident, there were already numerous attempts to destroy it or to merely make fun of it. Someone has covered it with paint and graffiti before. Fortunately, it was easy to remove and the star was cleaned off.

In July, an artist installed a barbed-wire miniature fence around it and decorated it with American flags. There was also a time when it was smeared with ketchup and adorned with Bernie Sanders bumper stickers.

Obviously, many are trying to express how they feel about Trump through the star. Currently, a tent has been placed over the star after it was damaged.
