8Stem, the user-friendly app just newly launched by Sub Pop Records' co-founder, Bruce Pavitt, together with his partner Adam Farish. The new cool music app just added spice to the music app category.

After three months filled with private beta and product testing, 8Stem music remixing app was finally released. It can now be downloaded in the app store.

8Stem allows users to, obviously, remix music and then upload it with royalties to the right holder, According to TechCrunch, it can be uploaded to Spotify and Apple Music Services.

Before going any deeper to what 8Stem can offer, let's talk about the founder of 8Stem, Bruce Pavitt. He is not just the co-founder of Sub Pop but he is also the co-founder of Smart Home Automation.

In The Seattle Times, there is a narration of a story that happened to Bruce Pavitt. It was a couple of years ago when someone called out to him and it was a 57-year old indie mogul. That guy told him that Sub Pop had changed his life while growing up in Mumbai. They took a selfie together and he signed a copy of 'Sub Pop USA' book.

So who do you think is the first investor in Pavitt's 8Stem? It was no other than Santosh Tawde, the guy who claimed to have a life changing experience because of Bruce Pavitt's Sub Pop Records. Tawde now works in Seattle Tech industry.

Now what can 8Stem offer? 8Stem is slick and easy to use. It is interactive and it will make users feel like a professional DJ. According to 8Stem, the app is the place that can help artist to promote their songs and be remixed.

For listeners, they can edit, rearrange the songs and remove guitar, add keyboard etc. While the Artist can limit the extent of how listeners can remix the stems of their song. They app can automatically give the artist credit when their song was used in a remix.

8Stem is currently looking for artists to release some music. You'll have fans, like you have never imagined, and you can promote your work. It is a totally new thing in the music community.
