The Universal Studios Japan opened way back 2001. Millions of guests visited the park in its opening year, making it the world's fastest amusement park to have achieved the 10 million milestones at the time. Since then, Universal Studios Japan has had approximately 8 million visitors every year. Most visitors are Japanese tourists and tourists from other Asian countries such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, and South Korea.

After creating an amazing attraction which brings us way up high with flying dinosaurs, they take us to the adventurous story of the amazing Spiderman and to the magical world of Harry Potter. A new theme is coming to invade Japan.

The Minions are coming, and they are taking over Universal Studios Japan. Minion Park will open in early 2017. Japan is going to open the world's largest Minion area, inspired by Illumination Entertainment's Despicable me franchise. I'm sure children and young at hearts will be very excited about it.

The attraction will include a toy store, sweet factory, hotel and a ride.

The attraction is set in the heart of super villain Gru's laboratory. This is a theater based attraction where guest will join Gru and his 3 cute little daughters Margo, Edith, Agnes and the Minions.

The journey will include a run through Gru's laboratory and a quick flight through the air before a crash landing brings every rider back to Earth.

Both Universal Studios Orlando and Hollywood parks already have awesome Minions attractions, but the Japan location will be unique based on the Minion Park that will span around the main 3-D ride. It will be located in Osaka.

The attraction will surely be a hit to Japanese and to all that will come to see the theme park. Imagine the things that you can experience the theme park. Brace yourself people because Minions are taking you to a whole new world of adventure.
