People around the globe are worried about the end of the world. Although there are already so many hoax stories about it, some reports from NASA appear to be reliable.

Of course, many are thinking that global warming or nuclear attacks could wipe off the planet but it could not be the case. According to Headlines and Global News, a huge meteor as large as the mountain could hit Earth. This will wipe off mankind.

Also, a recent report revealed that about 1,000 asteroids with a speed of 60,000 miles per hour will hit the planet. There are also other asteroids near the Earth that were already identified. But aside from these, there are still more asteroids that are left undiscovered.

It is also reported that an asteroid named Asteroid 2000 ET70 will allegedly strike Earth soon. The space rock is two mile wide and experts are saying that it is "potentially hazardous" especially that little is known about the planet as of now.

With an asteroid this big, it could cause tidal waves, earthquakes and many other apocalyptic events. Said asteroid already passed by earth on 2012 and was very close at 18 lunar distances. This time, experts fear that it would return after decades and might hit the planet.

But NASA clarified that the end of the world is actually not coming to the planet saying that there is no large object that will strike the Earth in the next several hundred years.

“NASA knows of no asteroid or comet currently on a collision course with Earth, so the probability of a major collision is quite small," a NASA spokesman said, according to Express UK.

But despite that, NASA still makes sure that they are doing something to lessen the effect of a possible asteroid impact. They launched a robotic mission to explore the space body. The mission aims to remove the mass of the asteroid and divert it to a stable orbit around the moon.

Apparently, this isn't easy to do and would definitely take a lot of time before it would be realized. Do you think 1,000 asteroids are about to ruin earth?
