Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim of the series "Arrow" told Comic Book that the title of the show's 100th episode is "Invasion!" Because the show has already landed its 100th episode, the makers see the need for another crossover of the other shows which are also part of the Arrow-verse.

Comic Book says The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow and Arrow will take a cross over sometime soon. The cross over will be based in the comic's Invasion! Series. That part looks into the Earth's alliance with the alien races.

The Catermatt confirms the cross over and said it is a common comic event of the four shows as the characters fights against Dominators who only want the superpowers coming from Earth. That's why, in order for them to fight against a big enemy, they all have to come together. The report also made a mention of the "Arrow" Season 5 with the appearance of Deathstroke, Moira Queen (Susanna Thompson) and Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman).

According to Asia Starz, the third episode focused on Oliver chasing a criminal who has a lot of knowledge about a new, harmful drug called "Stardust". It also showed fans how Oliver handled his challenges being the mayor of the city. The episode also saw Wild Dog and Evelyn Sharp in heavy situation when they went after the bad boys who are producing the harmful drug. They ended up falling into a drum of chemicals, which in turn were beneficial for them as superheroes.

"Arrow" is based on DC Comics' Green Arrow character created by illustrators George Papp and Mort Weisinger. The series focuses on the life of Oliver Queen, especially after he spent quite a time on an island. The series' way of telling the story is through flashbacks which happened within five years before present time in the show's story. "Arrows" airs every Wednesday on The CW at 8 PM.
