The Mikaelson's are going to face a new villain in "The Originals" Season 4. It still may take some time for fans to wait for the series since it is not airing anytime soon.

According to Bustle, "The Originals" Season 4 has been moved to midseason. It is likely that the show will air by January or February next year. This may take some time for fans to wait for the series to kick off again.

Meanwhile, Showrunner Julie Plec has a reassurance that the air date for The Originals Season 4 is actually an advantage to the production. It gives the timeline solely for the series alone. As can be noticed that recently 'The Vampire Diaries'' timeline has been mixed up with "The Originals."

Having a separate air date will actually focus on "The Originals" Season 4 and more freedom for the team to have the events only for the series. It has already been revealed that the fourth season will have a five-year jump from the last season.

In a report from Fab Newz, Caroline Forbes (Candice Accola) of 'The Vampire Diaries' may be the only one who can save Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) from the curse of the Tunde Blade in "The Originals" Season 4.

It is likely that Caroline will come to New Orleans and save Klaus from the coma. "The Originals" Season 4 is going to be tough for Klaus since he is suffering from the curse upon him. He needs to be strong in order to face a new villain that comes back to the place and seek revenge towards the Mikaelsons.

It already has been reported by News Everyday that "The Originals" Season 4 may be the final season of the series. Aside from the speculation of the season to be the last one, it also is speculated that Klaus is going to die in the upcoming season. Katherine Pierce (Nina Dobrev) may be the cause of his death.

There is still no official date when The Originals Season 4 will air, however it is worth the wait.
