The stars of "The Walking Dead" are slowly getting into other projects. Just recently, actor Norman Reedus announced his involvement in "The Boondock Saints" 3.

It was back in September last year when makers of "The Boondock Saints" announced that the third instalment is already in the works. Although the first instalment of the film was not at all a success, the second release made its way to popularity and grabbed a lot of fans by the collar.

However, according to a report by The Citizen Oracle, although it surpassed a lot of expectations, the second instalment of "The Boondock Saints" was not enough for it to be called a "box office hit". Even so, many fans proved that their support was all-out because the home video version of the second instalment was a sell-out.

In the upcoming "The Boondock Saints" 3, viewers and fans will witness "The Walking Dead" star Norman Reedus play the role of Murphy McManus. Meanwhile, actor Sean Patrick Flanery will portray Connor McManus.

"The Boondock Saints" director Troy Duffy reveals that the plot will revolve around the brothers' story and will tap into the first crimes that both got involved with. Fans of the film and of "The Walking Dead" believe that Norman's involvement will help pull the records up because of his popularity that went along with the famous series.

Morning News USA says the makers and team who are working behind "The Boondock Saints" 3 have not yet revealed the final list of cast and the final date of release. Even so, Norman Reedus has already shared on Reddit that the movie is already in the works, so fans should expect the announcement soon. Coming from the reported title of the third instalment, "The Boondock Saints 3: Legion", the story will focus on the brothers' discovery of the legions of vigilantes.
