Since Google introduced their Pixel phones, a lot of talks were there regarding its features. People seemed to be very impressed with its camera, Google Assistant, total design of the phone, Wi-Fi Assistant etc. The most popular feature noted by users was a new wallpaper app called Google Pixel Wallpaper app. People were very enthusiastic about how it changes the total appearance of the phone with its lively wallpapers. Now, Google has made it available to all Android devices.

Android users can download Pixel Wallpaper app from Google Play. Upon download, they can open the app and browse through the categories. It has categories such as My Photos, On-device wallpapers, Earth, Landscapes, Cityscapes, Textures etc. My photos section would enable the users to set their gallery photos as wallpapers, while On-device wallpapers get already downloaded wallpapers of the user parked.

All the remaining sections include a sizable number of corresponding wallpapers in it. Users can choose "Daily wallpaper" option that shuffles wallpaper on the screen daily basis or they can set a permanent wallpaper, from the desired category, cited by CNET. All the wallpapers are extremely high-quality images and would refresh the users' mind.

Except for the live wallpapers, all others can be explored further with either location or by the photographer. Per Engadget, it brings to corresponding Google Maps location or 500px photo-sharing community that would add additional photos to the app over time. The live wallpapers would slowly change as the battery drains to ensure optimal use.

Though all the Android devices support the Pixel Wallpaper app, only people with Android Nougat can set lock screen wallpaper with the app. Others can set only home screen wallpaper. Android Nougat is the latest Android version and it is available for Nexus devices. It will also be made available to all the existing eligible Android devices in the coming months.
